I am a supporter of the My Lai Peace Park, moved by Clayton Adams' asking about a family related to a diary in his possession February 2008. I wonder if there been an effort to locate someone for whom this might be a precious connection.

Hi there...Great projects! But what I see here (news, newsletters) look like they took place 8-9 years ago or so. Are these projects still going on now? just curious.

Hello, my name is Kaley Clements and I am a documentary film maker who is trying to put together a film about veterans from the Vietnam War who have been to, or have been living in Vietnam after their services in the armed forces ended. I really like what you have done with your website and enjoyed reading about your humanitarian efforts in Vietnam today. I will try contacting you in the near future if that is alright? Also, if anyone reads my message on this page that knows someone who may be of help to me please don't hesitate to contact me.

I just heard the interview on Worldview in Chicago and was compelled to find your website. Thank you for the great project and all the work you have put into it.

thanks for this website and the peace work that is done at my lai. even tho, 40 years later, i only just read about the massacre, my tears flowed and my heart wrenched. i sincerely hope all who were involved to be healed in their heart, soul and mind.

On this 40th anniversary of a tragedy that still haunts me, I so desperately wish a meaningful atonement from the U.S. for this unspeakable crime against humanity.

I think very often to My Lai. Today, my thoughts are for the dead people, the survivors, and the few american people who, this day, told NO to the atrocities.
Congratulations for your website.

I have the diary of a Viet Cong soldier which I obtained while serving in the US Army in Quang Ngai province in 1969.
The soldier's name is/was Than Hui
His home (from the diary) was:
Binh Nam Commune
Binh Son District
Quang Ngai Province
Many poems in the diary were written to his then girlfriend Thu Mo
Her home (again from the diary) was:
Son Quang Commune
Son Tinh District
Quang Ngai Province
Do you know any way I might try to get in touch with either of these two people or, if they are dead, with their relatives?
Thank you,

On Boxing Day 2007, I visited My Lai, accompanied by my wife and 2 Australian tourists. Most of the time, during the tour of the village, where we relived the athrocities of 16 march 1968, we were crying. The guide, Kieu, was the daughter of one of seven survivors. She was not filled with hatred. I have been in several concentration camps of the Germans and the Japanese and the Khmer Rouge.. The brutality, inhumane, beastly behaviour, demonstrated (yes, by Americans from the land of the free) during the rape and killing of the 'dinks', our brothers and sisters, is almost incomprehensible.

I'm just happy to help. Thank you for developing a way to help.

"blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God"...the lives of all those innocent human beings (not "orientals" as the racist American military referred to them as) who were brutally murdered by Army GI "warriors", both officer and enlisted, will be avenged by the Creator of life. I am still outraged by the cover-up, trial, and subsequent events. A mass murderer was set free by a nation that declares it's moral values and human rights record above all others...shame, shame. Defenders of freedom? Please! Peace to all of you!

I'm glad that My Lai has not been forgotten by everyone. Such events must be remembered for the purpose of not repeating them. Thank you! ^.~
